Nobody invents a story well at 7:45pm
Parents want a story that suits the child, the day and the mood, and bedtime is the exact hour when nobody has the energy to make one up. Plenty of apps generate stories. Very few handle affirmations, meditations, narration, faith-sensitive content and safety checking in the same place, and almost none of them have to hold up as something a family renews every month.
What we built
YawnTales is a full subscription product. Member accounts, monthly plans, recurring billing and failed-payment states wrap an AI core that turns a short prompt and a few choices into bedtime-ready content: stories, affirmations and meditations shaped for age, tone and theme. Prompt classification and output safety checks run on every generation, and a Christian mode produces Christ-centred stories for families who want them. Narration and contextual music turn the text into something you can put on and dim the lights to.
The one we point to when someone asks about SaaS and AI
This is a product we built, run and charge for, which makes it a more honest answer than a demo. It carries the unglamorous parts that decide whether a subscription business survives contact with users: accounts, recurring billing, failed cards, content safety that has to work on the first attempt because children are the audience, and generation costs that have to sit under the monthly price.
