AVETMISS reporting, NAT files and audit preparation should fall out of the day-to-day record, not get rebuilt from scratch each reporting period. We design the data model so the reports are a query, not a fortnight of reconciliation. The same record that proves a student was enrolled, attended and completed should be the one that generates the funding claim and survives an audit, with the history to back it up. When that record is solid, validation errors surface as you enter the data instead of at submission, which is where most of the late-night rework comes from.

Student privacy, LMS integration and the Australian Privacy Principles
Education data is sensitive, and the Australian Privacy Principles set real obligations around how student and family information is collected, stored and shared. We design records around privacy from the first sketch: role-based access, audit history, and data kept only where it should live. When you want to apply AI to enrolment triage, reporting or document handling, we can run it as private or on-premises AI so sensitive student information never leaves your control.
Nothing here is an island. We integrate your LMS, your SMS/SIS, your finance and your communication tools so attendance, results and enrolment flow between them instead of being exported and re-imported by hand. A grade entered in the LMS should reach the report and the parent portal without anyone copying it, and a withdrawal should update the class list, the fee schedule and the funding count at once. The goal is one current record per student that every authorised system reads from, not five partial copies that disagree.
We do not start by ripping out the system you already paid for. Often the smarter move is to keep your SMS/SIS or LMS as the record of truth and build the missing workflow, portal or report around it. Where a tool is genuinely the limiting factor, we say so and scope a replacement properly. Either way you start with a prototype you can put in front of front-office staff, so the people doing enrolment every day shape the thing before it is built, not after.
